DESCRIPTION:The Nuclear Structure 2022 conference is planned to be held onsite at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in June 2022. \nNuclear Structure 2022 (NS2022) is the 18th in a biennial series of nuclear structure conferences organized by North American national laboratories. Previous meetings in this series have been held in East Lansing (NSCL)\, Knoxville (ORNL)\, Vancouver (TRIUMF)\, and Argonne (ANL). These conferences are devoted to recent experimental and theoretical developments in the research on nuclei near the limits of isospin\, spin and excitation energy. Nuclear Structure 2020 was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. \nNuclear Structure 2022 will be held onsite at LBNL in Berkeley\, CA\, hosted by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory\, with an opening reception Sunday\, June 12th\, and a scientific program running Monday\, June 13th through Friday\, June 17th\, 2022.

SUMMARY:14th Conference on the Intersections of Particle and Nuclear Physics (CIPANP 2022)
DESCRIPTION:CIPANP is a conference series designed to explore common areas of interest to scientists working in elementary particle physics\, nuclear physics\, nuclear and particle astrophysics\, and cosmology. Topics include research focused on the study of fundamental interactions\, elementary particles\, nucleons and nuclei\, astrophysical phenomena\, and cosmic rays. In many cases\, these distinct areas are attempting to answer the same fundamental questions about our universe.  Experiments in each area typically also require input from the other areas to properly extract and interpret results from their data. CIPANP brings these communities together every three years in a unique setting that fosters collaboration among these scientific disciplines.

SUMMARY:Workshop IX on Streaming Readout
DESCRIPTION:The workshop will be held online. \nStreaming readout leverages the advances in electronics and computing to achieve continuous readout of all detector signals without requiring a “trigger” as was common in traditional readout schemes. This enables detector signal processing\, zero suppression\, and extraction of signal information (amplitude\, timing\, integrated charge\, etc.) using ASIC chips or FPGAs in parallel on the data streams with unbiased event selection and reconstruction downstream with online computer processing in clusters of CPUs or GPUs.

SUMMARY:2018 IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium and Medical Imaging Conference
DESCRIPTION:The 2018 Nuclear Science Symposium (NSS) and Medical Imaging Conference (MIC) will be held at the International Convention Centre Sydney\, in Sydney\, Australia\, from the 10th to 17th of November. \nThis conference is the premier gathering of experts in radiation detection instrumentation with its applications in nuclear science\, medical imaging\, and space. The synergy created by the joining of the NSS and MIC is significant as it is an ideal atmosphere for the exchange of knowledge\, generation of new ideas\, and application of radiation detectors among academics\, engineers\, medical physicists\, and physicians. The 2018 international conference event marks the 65th meeting aimed at bringing additional research flavours by encouraging participation of new groups of people to create ideas leading to innovation in radiation detectors\, signal processing\, and imaging. The conference is of special interest to IEEE Region 10 scientists who will be able to participate and learn from the large and diverse group of people that regularly attend every year.
